We went to the Science Museum today and I snapped a few pictures while walking along, only to notice the slightly odd angles when I got home. Lets just pretend I was trying to be artistic.
This was the first time I went to the Science Museum with a fully walking toddler, there was much gleeful running around in circles. The museum has two great areas for young children. The garden, at basement level, is not really a garden but a sensory play area, it is really great but little b wasn't too interested this time.
Instead we headed up to the pattern pod. I didn't know about this area until a few months ago, it is on the ground floor right at the back of the museum behind the IMAX ticket desk. It seems like a dark little area, but walk around the back of the desk and you will find a fun little space for little ones to explore.
After she grew tired of that we went to the first floor and had another run around and just when I thought I need a lie down and a rest, she started to yawn and volunteered to go back in the stroller. Oh joy! Amazing how long it takes to tire out such little legs!
